sol•stice : a term coined by ancient philosophers that represents the sun reaching the highest or lowest point in the sky. This special event only occurs twice a year, December 21 & June 21.

We loved the rarity of the event so much that it gave us inspiration to name the brand Solstice Swim, that embraces a warm forever summer feeling.

Why Do We Use

Eco Friendly Fabrics?

If you love the ocean as much as us, then you know that over the last 10 years, our seas have been heavily polluted every year with over 8.3 million tons of plastic, fishing nets, and other pollutants. With predictions that plastic will outnumber fish by 2050, we decided to find alternative ways to integrate eco friendly fabric and cleaning up the oceans.

Solstice Swim is able to achieve the mission to clean up the oceans by partnering up with Econyl, one of the largest sustainable fabric companies that collects over 174 Million Pounds of pollutants found in the ocean and creating it into the highest quality swimwear materials.

Supporting evidence shows that with the amount of increasing debris that end up in our oceans that impacts our eco system, animals, enviorement, and more. Did you know more than 100,000 sea animals face entanglement every year? By supporting our mission, you are working towards cleaning up the oceans, saving the animals and creating a better earth.
